Considering athlete transitions
Transitioning from pro sports like soccer to basketball is quite rare, primarily due to the height and skill requirements. While some athletes have made varying transitions, such as Nate Robinson who tried NFL after the NBA, it's generally difficult to move to a high-level sport without specific physical advantages, like being very tall and having excellent coordination. Training plans should focus on key skills and conditioning, while also considering injury risks. Opportunities exist in club leagues, developmental leagues, and international tryouts.
